Christmas Eve

Gramps was lying on the floor and couldn't get up. So he decided to take some photos while he was there. He didn't have his camera with him but with enough pleading, someone brought him the camera. These are the photos from ground level. Hopefully Gramps will be able to get up by New Years.

Time to earn my keep

Gramps says that money is tight and I have to start earning my keep. So he gave me a broom and put me to work. I keep hearing a lot of people grumbling about work and I won't mention any names (Gramps) but it's not as bad as I've been told. I actually had fun. Check out my video.

Bed Time

My cousin Irelan sometimes spends the night at my house. She and I were both in our pj's, so naturally Gramps had to take some photos. Of course we had to wake him up, as usual he fell asleep on the sofa.

First Christmas Picture

This past weekend, I got a chance to see Santa Clause. I don't know what the big hoopla is about getting pictures with him, but there was a big line waiting to do that. He looks a lot like Gramps but is much younger looking. Also Gramps has more cushion on his lap than Santa.

I've heard rumors that Santa gives gifts to good boys and girls. Well let me tell you, I've been good all year and when I went to see him I got nothing. What the heck is going on here. Now they tell me that the gifts come on Dec 25. I don't know, but it appears to me that this is some sort of a conspiracy to keep me good and not reward me. This is totally un-American in my book.

For now, I'll abide my time and wait to see what happens come Dec 25. If I don't get gifts then, I know secrets about Santa and I'm not afraid to go to wiki leaks.

So Santa, if you're reading this blog, and I know you are, you have been put on notice.

How to drink water like a man

I see how Gramps drinks his beer and he always says that this is the way real men drink their brew, so I decided to mimic his drinking style. It looks and feels kind of lame to me but if Gramps says this is how it's done, then this must be the right way. Because, as we all know, Gramps knows everything and he's not afraid to tell you either.

Halloween 2010

We had a little celebration for Gramps yesterday. It was his birthday last weekend and we were all too busy doing our own thing. We didn't think that he would mind if we didn't celebrate his birthday, but we were wrong. The whole weekend, he was sulking and pouting. Good grief, what a little baby, he is worse than I am. We, as a family, then decided to have a small party for him the following weekend, which is Halloween weekend. That lifted his spirits and he was back to his old self. Below are pictures of me and of course, Gramps had to get in a couple.

Auntie Jove

My auntie Jove sent me this quilt that I am sitting near. She is very talented and creates gifts from her hobbies.Who knows, maybe she will make me something Chicago Bears related. 

Speaking of Bears, my Gramps gets very excitable when he watches the Bears play football. He yells at the TV, throws objects and turns the TV on and off during the game. I hope the Bears improve, because it is very annoying watching Gramps cry and yell at the same time.

8 Months Old

 That's right, I'm 8 months old and really moving around. Poor Gramps has a heck of a time trying to keep up with me. He thinks, just because he's an adult, how hard could it be to keep up with me. The look and sweat from his face is something to behold after he's been chasing me around the house, keeping me from knocking down anything I see in sight. Gramps' favorite saying is "How do you turn this kid off". One good thing from me being here is that I don't think Gramps has a hard time falling asleep during the night.

Gramps thought he was being clever by taking a video of me and thought that I wouldn't see it, but I got wise quick. I got in Gramps face and tried to take the camera away from him but i failed. Oh well, there will be other opportunities for me to get the cam.

Post Bath Photos

 Last night, Gramps decided to take some photos. I just came out of my bath and was squeaky clean. Hopefully, Gramps will get the message that taking a bath daily, is better than taking a bath, once a week, if you need it or not as Gramps would say.

I was tired and needed a soft spot to lay on. I looked around the room and there it was, the softest spot in the world, Gramps stomach. I got on top of his stomach, and the rest is history.

Funny Faces

Yesterday, Gramps put me in the clothes hamper again. He said I was drooling so much that I was getting the furniture soaking wet. So, to contain my drool, he decided to put me in the hamper. I really enjoyed it and showed him by making funny faces at him.

Sorting Clothes

Daddy was sorting clothes last night and I decided to jump in and gve him a hand. I got into the clothes hamper and tested the clothes for softness. Now, my way of testing for softness is to put it in my mouth and taste how chewy it is. I don't know why more people don't use this method, but it sure works for me. Smiling (again)

Anyone who meets me, knows that I smile a lot (just like Gramps). He and I both have the same kind of smile, great mouth and no teeth.

2 weeks ago, I surprised everyone by crawling. My Gramps was there to take a video.

A couple weeks ago, my daddy fed me some peas. Gramps, of course, thought it would be cute to take a video of  me while eating. Peas are not my most favorite meal as you will see in the video

6 Months old

Two days ago was my 6 month birthday.To Gramps' surprise, mommy bought a cake to celebrate. If it was up to Gramps, we would be celebrating my birthday ever month. He just can't get enough sweets to eat. My cousin Irelan was over and helped in the celebration

Crazy hair

What can I say, my hair goes all over the place. Sorta likes Gramps hair but not as bad. At least when I wake up in the morning, half of my hair is not in front of my face covering one eye and the other half is behind covering half his neck.If that's what I have to look forward to when I get older, I may as well just get my head shaved now and keep it that way. I think for now I'll just keep my hair the way it is.

My 1st baby food feeding
